Refugees are more than numbers in the statistics. But with 79,000,000 fleeing their homes and countries globally, how do you provide the Danish people with the experience that transfers what it feels like to be a refugee?
For World Refugee Day 2018, we had the great honor of helping the Danish Refugee Council tell the heartbreaking stories of children and adults, forced on the run, and faced with constant risks and insecurity. The aim was to collect signatures to hand over to the Danish Minister for Integration and later to the UN to make a statement that the population was demanding change and solutions on a global scale. And we're proud that the campaign resulted in 500 % more signatures than the original target.
The campaign site presents ten human stories of war and distress, told by people way too young to fight for their life. Every life counts, and behind each number is a human being.
