Maliha Abidi is a Pakistani-American multidisciplinary artist and author living between London and Los Angeles. Born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, she migrated to California at the age of 14. Her experiences as a South Asian immigrant heavily influence her work, which advocates for social justice, including women's rights, girls' education, and mental health.
Through her art, illustrations, animations, NFT art, and illustrated books, Maliha aims to engage people in complex issues that impact our societies. She is also very vocal about creating inclusive communities and has spoken on numerous panels.
